Noose Sells Magazines
Thursday, January 17th was a day for the pirates.  The recent DVD release of Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End has been the driving force influencing all the searches for www.piratesonline.com.  The site is really entertaining and contains a computer game where you are Captain Jack Sparrow and must defeat other pirate groups.  A very interesting marketing concept by Disney that has clearly been a success.

It appears Kelly Tilghman’s slip up is continuing to be the subject of the media.  Golf Week’s newest cover contains a gloomy picture of a noose dangling from a tree.  Can you say controversy!  PGA representatives have already been complaining and saying Golf Digest should have better taste.  I think that it is a creative way to draw the connection between the obvious non-politically correct quote and the good chance that Kelly Tilghman’s job is headed for that noose.  Sure was nice knowing ya, Kelly; and your still hot in my book!

The final glaring trend I noticed today wins the award for major news story that I don’t give a dang about.  Jenna Bush has apparently announced her upcoming wedding to Henry Hager will be held at the Bush ranch in Texas and not in the White House.  Jenna claims she wants a quiet wedding and doesn’t enjoy all the attention.  So, why hold out and get everybody wondering if your going to have a White House and attract all of this attention, Jenna?  I could care less…and I’d take Kelly Tilghman over Jenna any day!
