The number one search for today was the term “candidate calculator” which is a site that allows you answer a quick questionnaire and then tells you which candidate’s views are closest to your own. The New Hampshire primary is obviously making people start to think about how they will vote next November. It appears the site featuring the candidate calculator was not expecting this high amount of traffic as it down as we speak and not allowing visitors. If you’re interested in finding out who you might be most interested in voting for…in case you’re unsure at this point…try checking it out tomorrow here.
The Major League Baseball 2008 Hall of Fame Induction also had multiple searches for it’s results and the names of players elected. Rick “Goose” Gossage was finally elected after failing to receive the required amount of votes eight times before.
One of the biggest stories of the day was the apology by The Golf Channel’s Kelly Tilghman for the remark she made this past weekend during the Mercedes-Benz Championship. When discussing with Nick Faldo how younger players could combat Tiger Woods dominance Tilghman suggested, “They should lynch Tiger in a back alley”. Obviously, not the smartest choice of words, but she at least she is still a beautiful young woman! It remains to be seen if the GC will suspend or fire Tilghman.
